Dear ClojureBridge coaches,

We are so excited to see you at the ClojureBridge workshop this Friday and Saturday! We start Friday at 18:00 and Saturday at 9:00. Please note carefully, we have a NEW location for the workshop day on Saturday this year: at Wooga.

As mentioned at the coaches training, Friday's InstallFest is optional for coaches. Please be on time on Saturday.

The location for Installfest on FRIDAY is:

Microsoft
Karl-Liebknechtstraße 32
Berlin
Nearest U-bahn: Alexanderplatz.

The location for ClojureBridge Workshop on SATURDAY is:

Wooga
Saarbrücker Str 38
Berlin

You'll find a picture of both venues' entrances attached. There should be someone there to let you in, if not, you will find a phone number on the door so you can still get in.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • At Friday's InstallFest we start with an opening presentation around 18:30, then make sure everyone has NightCode up and running. We'll have free vegan/vegetarian food and drinks available.

  • Breakfast, vegan lunch a and afternoon snacks are provided on Saturday.

  • The after-party will be at Volksbar (Rosa-Luxemburgplatz). Please remind your students to join!

  • We can offer food, drinks and the whole workshop for free! Thanks to our awesome sponsors <3!

  • We also offer child care at the event. If you are interested in using it, please let us know asap. We will then get in touch with you to discuss the details.

If you did not make it to the Coaches training, please review the slides here:

Please check out the curriculum you will use at the workshop:

It may be helpful to install Nightcode, the editor we use for ClojureBridge. We use the latest version which you can find here:

After covering the basics with the curriculum in the morning, you should encourage students to try their hands on graphical programming with Quil after lunch.

Looking forward to the workshop!

Thanks a lot from the whole team!
