This is the email that gets sent to our Mailchimp mailing list to announce an upcoming workshop as soon as sign-up is open.

SUBJECT: Registration open for free beginner's programming workshop 6-7 October 2017!

Join us for a day of exploring programming through creative visual projects, with friendly coaches to guide your learning experience!

ClojureBridge is a free programming workshop for women and non-binary people, introducing the programming language Clojure in a safe space for learning and asking questions. Want to experiment with something new and different for fun? This is for you! Curious about programming but have no idea where to begin? Come join us! Maybe you know how to write code, but don't know how to get started with building things, or want to learn a new language? This is for you, too. Not sure if you identify as a woman or as non-binary? That's okay, we totally accept you, come learn with us!

Location:

Wooga, Saarbrücker Str. 38, 10405 Berlin

Registration:

Sign up is open and closes September 10

Workshop Dates:

  • Friday 6/10 October, 6pm

Install party! Preparing our computers for the workshop. A vegan dinner is provided.

  • Saturday 7/10 October, 9am to 6pm

The workshop! Learning, coding, and talks from women and non-binary people about their experiences with programming in work and life. Vegan breakfast and lunch provided.

You will begin your programming journey at ClojureBridge, but it's also so much more than a workshop. It's an invitation to join the broader Clojure and programming communities, a welcoming place to ask questions, collaborate on projects and ideas, find opportunities, and make friends and connections, long after the event is over.

If you have questions or concerns or random thoughts, feel free to reply directly to this email and a friendly human will respond (:

Pass along the news, sign up with a friend—learning is more fun together. Hope to see you there!
