What is blocking? When should I block people?

Blocking is a way of hiding other users' content. Rather you hate someone or just dislike how someone spelt their username, you can block all their content so that you can continue to enjoy the site worry-free.

It is recommended to only use the blocking feature in extreme cases. Blocking too many people will make less content available to you and will affect your experience on the website negatively.

How to block someone?

Go the the profile of the person you would like to block and click the "Block" button.

Click the confirm checkbox and the block button.

  • On some websites: instead of their content, you will see a popup saying "You blocked this user", with an Unblock button beside it
  • On other websites: you will not see their content at all

🚨 In the Security section of your Settings, you will see everyone you blocked, with an option to Unblock them
