SLE (Sierra Leone)

In 2017, Sierra Leone reorganized its ADM3 level 'chiefdom'. This change increased the number of ADM3 features from 149 to 190. Data on this updated system of division is incredibly sparse; the most recent dataset found through our research was this ADM4 file from africaopendata.org in 2015. 165 chiefdoms are represented in the file. In an attempt to locate a source containing all 190 chiefdoms, this file was found from the SLE data portal; population demographics per chiefdom. In this open-licensed, government-sourced csv, only 165 chiefdoms are represented. Thus, we decided to move forward and offer SLE_ADM3 with 165 features, and hope to locate or create a file containing all 190 when the data becomes available for redistribution or digitization.
