IT Council
The Marist Information Technology Council (IT Council) is responsible for creating the Marist Student Government Website (SGA Website). The IT Council is a small but growing group of Marist students that are passionate about technology and positive change. Our aim is to learn as much as possible as well as provide a close-to-real-world working experience for the council's developers. This wiki acts as documentation for both the website and the processes we use to manage it. We cover technical topics like HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript tips, as well as development advice and best practices, such as our version control process and issue assignment.
Our focus is learning, and we sacrifice superior-looking products for well-made, simple products that are made the right way. Often times, learning the best way to do something yields the best results.
