Based on the game introduction menu, we know that the target of the game is those traffic controller in the light rail systems. We can see that, the traffic controller is to observe the condition of the rail system and have to control and make decision when the traffic problems happen. Our game should let the those traffic controllers not only have fun, but also obtain some ideas and can do some real-time operation even predictive operation in the real world.
I think that it should be a competitive game. Every controller can play this game whenever he is free and then play it. After played it, he can obtain some marks or grades. Then, all of these marks or grades from every player will make up a rank list. Everyone can replay this game every day and he can refresh his grade and compete for the leading rank~
The game consists of several parts. In my opinion, I think that this game should be based on the local HTM networks. It is related to the real situation. Then, we can first store the real traffic timetable and schedule in the system from beginner. Then, a list of common disruptions (from the HTM given, even can be extended by our ideas) can be randomly occur in the system to give the controller problem. Then the controller can do a list of actions, like reroute, cancel some vehicles, and cancel some vehicle on certain lines. Finally, the system will use an evaluation system to give the controller his score according to the system under his control.
Here we need to consider the evaluation system with several factors. The time is the most significant one. Who control more vehicles reach their destination in time, he can obtain more scores. Second, the more numbers of the re-route of the vehicles negatively influence the traffic and should give less mark. And the evaluation system is the most difficult park in this game, and we should discuss it again and again and consider the real situation.
Because the game is for the traffic controllers and they may do not have much time to play computer at home. I think a mobile application with the action of swiping or touching is more engaging.
