Design Decisions

This page is a temporary home for design decisions, comments, questions raised throughout the wireframing process. This will eventually be housed in a more formalized full scope requirements document.

Archive/Delete/Deactivate/Purge

In general these actions will be not be easily accessible. They will only be available to certain roles (system administrators) and those menu options will be hidden to most users.

Usernames

Usernames are publicly viewed. Full names, email and other information will not be public information. A small label should be added under the username field in registration to notify users.

This means that in the platform the public will be able to see that "clash" added X on 2016-02-29.

Organizations

Public/Private Organizations

Organizations may opt to remain private. This means that they will only be visible to its members. The default will be public.

Organization Logos

We are only going to support uploaded files, not the ability to link to a url as available in the current platform.

Adding Members to Organizations

Org admins will need to either know the username or email address to add them to an organization. The user will then receive an email and will accept the invitation if they are currently a member or need to register before then accepting the invitation to join the organization.
