DAX Studio is the premier tool for working with DAX queries against Microsoft Tabular models. The project was started in 2012 and has been constantly developed ever since. It allows users to connect to models running locally in Power Pivot, Power BI Desktop and SQL Server Developer Tools (SSDT) as well as remote models like SQL Server Analysis Services, AzureAS and Power BI Premium XMLA Endpoints.
