EarthWorks Input Data

G. Dylan Dickerson edited this page Apr 24, 2024 · 4 revisions

EarthWorks leverages CESM resources as much as possible - this is true with the input data for simulations as well. Most configurations will be able to fetch input data automatically while creating, setting up, building, and running a case. Some cases (especially at higher resolution) use input data that was generated specifically for EarthWorks.

The input data is located at "/glade/campaign/univ/ucsu0085/inputdata" on NCAR's GLADE filesystem. Users on NCAR HPC systems can add --input-dir /glade/campaign/univ/ucsu0085/inputdata to their create_newcase command to get access to all EarthWorks input data (or other equivalent such as changing DIN_LOC_ROOT after creating a case).

If you have a Globus Account please try using our Globus Collection: EarthWorks Input Data.
