update to the pcb (v0_7_2h) to use a dual dip-soic footprint for the mcp3008 - giving the option to use either - this was because i was finding the dip_mcp3008 a bit hard to source / more expensive so now people will have both options

note: take care of orientation of ic when placing - the smd ic needs to be placed opposite direction to the dip one - do not place both!

this is a small bugfix release that patches an issue with the midi control as described here - no changes were made to the recurboy repo as the issue was changed upstream

this release adds a few new features:

• option for processing live video input from easyCap (and other compatible usb-video inputs )

usb midi

• usb midi control over all buttons + continuous inputs - including shader + effect params on seperate cc's (default mapping matches korg nanoKontrol2)

playing images

• #9 sampler mode can now also play images - taking .png .jpg .jpeg & .gif - (gifs are not animated) - put them in the Videos folder

can output sd over HDMI

• #16 Hdmi is now correctly sized and defaults to hdmi_group=1,hdmi_mode=1 which is state 0xa [HDMI CEA (1) RGB full 4:3], 640x480 @ 60.00Hz, progressive

can add media without requiring reboot

• #13 files are checked on every MODE press so hotplugging a usb-drive or copying files over scp while program is running will read them

other small improvements

• #19 cursor is hidden
• #6 boot time is reduced
