c47608b corrects an oversight in the CSS - I hadn't previously realized that the classes for the icons are directly referenced in the stylesheet to hide whichever one is currently applied. |

This is completely a judgement call for the waycrate team. Fork Awesome provides a Matrix logo glyph, and is a fully-free, libre and open-source fork of the original FontAwesome, which has apparently privatized its build system.
The drawback at this point is that the "toggle" icons used for the dark mode switch on the website aren't available, so I used a cirlce and a dot circle in their place.
I have not built and run the site locally to see how they show up, so you may want to check that first before merging.
