The most important thing here is that we understand what the user will need when they are driving the rover so that we can create that for them. Do they need good camera feeds? Do they need a high level map of the environment? Will we benefit from using sensors to create that map? How will we integrate the GPS into that map? All of that is important to consider, in terms of the user interface for driving the rover. You need to go here to investigate the requirements for the user: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LY5VX9Psww8Bx4ub_AWMgUlajPZQ2X2A/view?pli=1. Be sure to consider different missions (equipment servicing, extreme delivery, autonomy).
Come of with requirements specific to those 3 missions, then loop me in.
Next step is to start designing and seeing how we want it to look.
Finally, we will create it.
THIS TASK IS SIMPLY FOR CREATING THE REQUIREMENTS.

Ok, I think this is good background work and gives you good context for what is to come. Let's focus on the extreme delivery mission for now. How do we think we will need to set things up in order for a user to be able to have good inputs in terms of what they are seeing? What should they see? How should the camera views look? Should we have 2 cameras? 3? Where should they go? How are we going to incorporate a GPS map of the surroundings? These are all big questions to think about.
Now we can't think so big or else this becomes a HUGE and complex task, we need to chunk this down into smaller tasks that we can use to eventually build up into a bigger system. That's kind of where my job as a lead comes in because I need to direct you. I'm going to try to give you a few starting tasks for this project, but my idea is that this is going to be a pretty involved undertaking that you will do. Will involve integrating sensors, testing with users, and defining how we operate the robot visually. That's alot, but dont worry I'm sure it will be rewarding and well chunked up in the end.
