The USDOT's ITS JPO and FHWA are collaborating to extend the success of the Work Zone Data Exchange model to additional types of roadway data to improve safety and efficiency of our transportation system. The aim of this effort is to increase the safety of the traveling public through the production of consistent incident and emergency response data feeds from state and local agencies across the country.
- A stakeholder kick-off meeting was held on February 23, 2023. This meeting was open to the public; participants shared their perspectives on current data sharing challenges and goals. You can find more information on this meeting in the Meeting Records section below.
