Ansible Playbook for eduroam Registry

Create Superuser Password

The password for the Django superuser needs to be added manually:

ssh <servername>
cd /opt/djnro
./manage.py changepassword {{admin_user}}

Initial Login

Go to https://{{fqdn}}/admin and login with the the {{admin_user}} and with the password you have set above.

Import institution data (if available)

./manage.py parse_institution_xml /path/to/institution.xml

sudo apt install python python-memcache exim4 python-dev libxml2-dev libxslt1-dev -devlib32z1 python-pip apache2 libapache2-mod-wsgi postgresql python-psycopg2
cd /opt
sudo mkdir djnro
sudo chown ubuntu djnro
git clone https://github.com/ubuntunet/djnro
cd djnro
pip install -r requirements.txt

Then follow from here http://djnro.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation/install/

Setup the database before running the migration:

cd /opt/djnro
./manage.py syncdb
./manage.py migrate

Apache Server

Make sure all required modules are enabled

sudo a2enmod wsgi rewrite ssl

Add Lets Encrypt certificate

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:certbot/certbot
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install python-certbot-apache 

sudo certbot --apache certonly

sudo certbot renew
