Paul Verest
Hi, my name is Paul Verest. I graduated with honor in Computer Science and have been doing software for 15 years. First as Developer, Team Lead and for last 5 years as Software Architect and Technology Leader. Though I have been trying many software stacks, for 10 years I have been using Java and can recommend it, if you think about long term. Java has been top language for many years, and whatever shiny new feature appears elsewhere after a while they appear in Java. Thanks to diverse ecosystem, most of developers are using and learning Java, many frameworks exist, and many companies are investing into Java stack tools and products.
Apart from computer languages, I learned 5 human languages, with the latest being Chinese that ultimately braught me to China where I have been living for 7 years now. 所以我当然会说普通话，看得懂中文。
