Hi there!

I'm Roger Stringer, a Canadian full-stack engineer, author, foodie and speaker living in Penticton, British Columbia.

I'm a tech writer at rogerstringer.com and codedgeekery.com and an Open Source author and contributor.

I've contributed to several other OSS projects such as Directus, Wordpress, Next.js and others.

I’m currently working on multiple frontend and backend projects using Astro, Remix, React, Nextjs, Nodejs, and OpenAI (and other AI integrations as well).

I build a lot of things using many stacks, currently mostly working with Astro / React / Remix / Nextjs and Nodejs with various APIs.

I’m also a dad, music lover, film buff, camper, and foodie.

I spend my spare time building things, doing fun stuff with my daughter, camping in our 1999 Honda Stepwagon, hiking around the province, and cooking up new recipes.
