Welcome to the camera.ui wiki!
camera.ui is a NVR like Interface to control your RTSP capable cameras. It offers functions like motion detection, capture snapshot/video on movement, watch stream on all devices and even HomeKit is supported (with Homebridge as extension). It is a full PWA and offers also native push notifications (macOS / Windows / Android).
All changes made directly in config.json can also be made directly via the interface. In the wiki I go specifically into the config.json
On first start, camera.ui will generate the default config.json for you in the (if not changed) ~/camera.ui folder. Every changes made via interface, will be also written into the config.json
If you prefer to editing the config.json directly, camera.ui will take the changes after an restart.
