Please open a ticket on this repo for adding a tutorial on creating your own image transport (ie. porting http://wiki.ros.org/image_transport/Tutorials/WritingNewTransport). We already have the code ported in this PR.

I've moved the tutorials from ros-perception/image_common#197 to this repo so we can depend on
cv_bridgewithout breaking CI.@jacobperron has been added as the new maintainer.
