How we work

As you have seen, no one but the official devs can push on this module repository. This is wanted and we want that the community building modules for Alice produce some quality work that respects the fundamentals of user privacy. Therefor to contribute to this module repository your must "Pull request" your work

Why is my pull request not immediately accepted?

Simply because we will spend some time to ensure your submission:

  • Follows the code guideline
  • Doesn't do anything malicious or harmful to other users
  • Follows the philosophy
  • Isn't a duplicate of an existing module
  • Complies with copyright rules

We will answer you, in case of any problems, to clarify the situation and make it evolve towards the release of your module. When your module is released it will be available to every users so make sure to keep it up to date and bug free. We will deactivate any module that's not working or raises problems user side. Once released, you share your code with the world and we cannot guarantee you any copyright but the one we use, GPLv3. Your module will get its official ticket link when it becomes available.
