Help ‐ adding references
Currently, references are managed at the file level (as opposed to something like a single ".bib" file you may be familiar with in the context of Latex writing). At the bottom each markdown file (for instance, the 02-00-introduction.md, the Introduction) there is a list of references included using this format [^key_for_the_reference]: The Citation.
Currently, there is not a single standard for reference style, but most references are in some kind of popular standard (ACM, APA, Harvard, etc.)
For instance, an example from the Introduction is:
[^NarrowCorridor]: ”The narrow corridor: How nations struggle for liberty”. D Acemoglu, JA Robinson - 2019
In the main text, the key [^NarrowCorridor] is copied after the relevant sentence to insert the citation.
