OLS Application Guidelines

Applications for OLS Open Seeds

The Application deadline is July 7 2023.

Please get in touch with the OLS team if you have concerns regarding this deadline or may need some support.

Step 1: Register in Open Review

• Visit the submission page: https://openreview.net/group?id=openlifesci.org/Open_Life_Science/2023/Cohort_8
• Please create your profile minimum 5 days before the application deadline. For any technical problem, please reach out to the OLS team.
• Add your name and email to receive a confirmation email and click the confirmation link sent to your email
• Set up your profile by adding the following minimum information: (i) Personal link (Add any one link from Twitter/GitHub/Website), (ii) Your current position, start date (skip the end date to indicate your present role), (iii) Institute domain (like “openlifesci.org”), and (iv) Your institution name. You can optionally add other details, but they are not necessary for your application
• You will receive an email saying “Your OpenReview profile has been successfully created. Please allow up to 12 hours before the profile is activated.” (it takes only a few hours before a profile is activated)

Step 2: Draft your application

While you wait for a confirmation, prepare your application draft locally using the template provided below Please right click to save/download the file format of your choice.

• MarkDown template to download or copy the raw file and work on HackMD for free
• DOCX template
• ODT template
• Plain Text template

Step 3: Submit your application via the Open Review form

• Visit the submission page: https://openreview.net/group?id=openlifesci.org/Open_Life_Science/2023/Cohort_8
• Click the “OLS Open Seeds Cohort Submission” link
• Transfer the content from your draft application to the Open Review form
• When you’re ready, click “submit”
