Italian: translation #12

@salitrov There has been some user requests for an improved version of the Italian translation. One comment was received on the prior Italian translation update pull request "Updated and finalized Italian translation #117" which was cancelled. The current Italian translation release (which is for Android only) is from a long time ago. Here are some possible approaches to consider for improving the current as-is Itialian translation situation: Approach: Use Pull Request #117 Content As An Interim Translation. The #117 edits can be found in the Italian_it.20190223.tsv spreadsheet for quick review. If acceptable, this could be used as an improved interim translation until an official update is available. The Approach: Interim Android Only Official-enough Release. If the official (work-on-progress) translation has coverage for the Andriod but not yet for iPhone, then an interim Android Only Release could be done. The Approach: Official Release. The official release is close enough, so just be patient for the official release. |
Hi Marc, thank you for this note and I'm sorry for the delay. Here is the Italian translation sheet we were last working on, which has been stalled since October. My fault. Thank you, Marc. I'll assign an Italian translator to work on and finish this when one becomes available. Feel welcome to launch an interim translation if you're comfortable with it. |

Some changes were made to the main Italian app translation. They noted to make sure line 357 (with the \n) looked right. I think you previously noted those are line breaks? Let me know if any other changes are needed for this. Thanks! Italian Trans Sheet (Latest, 2022) - Italian_it.20190223.txt |

@salitrov In the latest spreadsheet, the entries below remain the same as the English original. Just to confirm, are these as expected for the Italian translation? Thanks. Miso |
Thanks for noting. I'm verifying with them. |
