About This Project

Shadowsocks is a fast tunnel proxy that helps you bypass firewalls. This is a fork of the original one Just in case the main maintainer give up original one.

• Possible new features

  • Compression algorithm support (LZO maybe)
  • Rewrite with C (maybe duplicated with shadowsocks-libev, but we're not dedicated python coders)
  • Connection keepalive and reuse (Just an idea, no details yet)
  • Better author/committer privacy. (Just f**k Chinese gov)

• For contributors

  • Don't use your main github/mail account, just create a new one.
  • GPG sign recommened, but optional (Your reputation here is not important, but your codes)
  • Use English, No Chinese.
