Rewrite click handler to support any clickable element

This change let the click event continue running if it's confirmed.

Thank you that's an interesting feature, however I would see it as an option rather than the default behavior (because it would break backward compatibility).

Furthermore in your commit you removed optional behavior, like the possibility to use POST instead of GET, please restore that.

The change is compatible with post option.
We can attach many functions to click event :)
