This is because originally the SDK Builder was a fork of the official Loopback SDK Angular; during the evolution of this module, more distance in between made me decide we won't keep the official versioning numbers and follow our own path.
The license of the module has been changed because after many months of hard work, the SDK Builder and the SDK Angular modules only share about 10% of the code, which means that at least 90% of this module code is new and you won't be able to find it in the original module.
But, the remaining 5% (or less) persists the original license and you will be able to find it by opening the utils.js file.
