This release is affected by #103 - if you use High DPI displays, you're better off sticking with 5.18.5 for now.

Changes in this release :

  • The application is now compiled with Lazarus 3.4 and FPC 3.2.4-rc1.
  • Linux AppImage is now compiled under Rocky 8 so should be runnable under a wider range of distributions. (#99)
  • Notifications under macOS will no longer cause the main window to foreground itself. (#83)
  • Notifications under macOS now use native notification functionality. (#83)
  • Clicking on Chrome (or other completely unrelated to transgui) notifications under Windows causes transgui to open. (#85)
  • Fixed .torrent file association not working under macOS Sequoia. (#95)
  • Fixed "key not in map" when using "Status bar sizes". (#64)
  • It is no longer possible to set a custom "Font size" in application settings as the code that implemented this did not work properly and caused other bugs. (#86) (#82)

Changes in this release :

  • Pressing the platform's copy key sequence (Ctrl-C or Command-C) will now copy the torrent's name (if a torrent is currently selected in the main torrents table) or the relative path to one of its files (if a file is selected in the Files tab). (#20)
  • The keyboard shortcut for "Add Torrent" and "Add Torrent Link" was wrong on macOS due to its keyboards missing the Shift key. (#21)
  • Filters now support multi-selection. (#24)
  • The torrents table no longer scrolls to the currently selected torrent after sorting the table. (#25)

Releases from this repository will now use the .f postfix in the version number to differentiate them from the ones in the source repo.

Changes in this release :

  • Switched to OpenSSL 3 in all platforms. (#3)
  • Windows and MacOS releases now include bundled OpenSSL.
  • Application is compiled with FPC 3.2.3 and Lazarus 2.2.6.0 in order to fix JSON parsing bugs. (#2)
  • Country flags are now stored as application resources - no need to download them. (#10)
  • Gzip compression is now used when talking to the Transmission daemon.
