Hello, these files are mainly a help for maintainers, also a new release is underway so please be patient, I will look into this issue after the upcoming release. |

They are required to be listed in Linux app stores. The rule is that they should be pushed upstream and be maintained there. Otherwise, there would be duplicate effort to generate those metadata files. |

Flatpak builder complained about it. I think it does not like multiple primary categories and the other fields also threw errors. I guess https://freedesktop.org/software/appstream/docs/chap-Metadata.html moved on and this wasn't updated.
