  • Install a DB Management tool and connect.

PlanetScale has a bit of tooling on its SaaS product but you would probably want something more potent. PlanetScale list four specific tools that are tested agains their platform.

Install and connect at least one - but do your self the favour and explore! some of the ones you don't try might be better! I found a MySql Workbench vs. Sequel Ace comparison in the bottom of the post they list even more alternatives...
