Improve tests for url checks
use legacy chown
remove config validation of mongo settings
- add test cases
remove alerts
handle redirect (301, 302)
- necessary to have for lbl sites which throw a 403 without a user-agent string - generates meaningful one, though, to be nice -accompanying tests
Add support for sending user-agent string to address lbl's new requirement that it be present
