Getting Started

Chat application built with Node.js, Express.js and Socket.IO.

Requirements

Clone the respository: git clone https://github.com/jumagu/chat-app.git.
Install Node Modules: npm install or npm i.
Rename the .env.template file to .env and assign the values to the variables as appropriate.
Run the application: execute in the console on your app path nodemon app (if you already have nodemon installed globally) or node app.
