Use 1 to spin down after sensitive liquid transfers (2 and 4 to prevent spill). Use 3 to perform reaction incubations without operator intervention and to place finished plates on cooling.

Notes

  • Some workflows allow you to run individual steps, should the option to do final hold be offered or only for the last step in a runset?
  • Centrifugation is most easily done using only a single plate type (Eppendorf) but in the bead purification protocols it would be useful to spin down the Nunc plate. How can this be done?
