 > DISTRO ID    : ARCH  # in uppercase

recommended minimum packages

 > packages  : cryptsetup grub efibootmgr base linux lvm2 dhcpcd

Note:

after going through the script one might ask, why to use a script for rootfs if official tarball exist ?

  • tarball is broken sometimes ( actually many times ) and fix for every possible issue cannot be added to the installer
  • that tarball is enormous for no real reason, so the script saves bandwidth
