Competitions

A decent Competitions in data science takes around 20 to 30 days with workload of around 2 hours/day. To become profecient it will take around 1 year and then to become a master it may take 2 to 3 years based on commitment!

The best place to compete is kaggle.

Donts:

• here people are tempted to post useless comments and achieve the expert tier, which looks cool! so sont do it.
• don't probe the leaderboard by using others work and ensembling methods only.

dos:

• be regular in competitions, the community and competitions are fun.
• involve yourself in meaningfull discussion.
• if you have some work that you are proud of, make it public! 😄
