  • for more information see: https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/blob/main/systems/snapdragon_7c_woa/readme.md
  • this image is very much work in progress and only ment for others who might want to help brining up linux support for such systems - they are basically running, but a lot of things are not working or not properly working yet, so they are really nothing for daily use - use them at your own risk as the bringup of those systems is still in its very early stages
  • currently supported are the samsung galaxy book go and the acer aspire 1, but the image can also be used as a starting point for adding support for other similar devices
  • v6.6.9 kernel with changes from the travmurav acer aspire 1 tree and ufs support from ungeskriptet
  • the grub menu has entries for samsung galaxy book go (default) and acer aspire 1 (second entry) - please always select the correct entry for your device as booting with the wrong device tree might harm the device worst case
  • the touchpad is working now
  • a new somewhat cleaned up draft dts is now used for the samsung galaxy book go
  • internal ufs storage is now enabled and accessible on the samsung galaxy book go and it is usually visible as 6 scsi devices from sda to sdf
  • WARNING: except if you really really really know what you are doing, do not do anything with this internal storage and especially do not simply try to install linux on any of those storage devices as it is very easily possible to completely brick the galaxy book go by messing up those partitions without any option to recover from that situation - even if the internal storage is accessible now, please only run linux from sd card or usb!
