What is winboet?

Winboet is a chocolaty script to install all my windows applications i use on a daily base. Winboet is made to for simplicity and easy to install.

Prerequisite:

• Windows 10 or 11
• Administrator Rights
• Internet Access

Getting Started:

Open PowerShell as Adminstrator.

Run the following commands

Get-ExecutionPolicy

If it returns "Restricted" then run the following

Set-ExecutionPolicy AllSigned

Installing Chocolaty:

In a admin Powershell run

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force; [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol -bor 3072; iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://community.chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))

Chocolaty is now installed.

Installing winboet:

Open PowerShell as Administrator

Cloning winboet repo:

You can manually download the repo and extract the folder or run the following command

Invoke-WebRequest https://github.com/hacker41d4n/winboet/ -OutFile ./packages.config

Installing the packages:

change the username to your current username on your computer

cd Users/username/Downloads

choco install packages.config

Then you can manually accept all the packages to install. You can also accept all the packages with this command.

choco install packages.config -y

Upgrading Packges:

choco upgrade all

Finished:

You are done installing winboet packages.
