These wiki pages are to share knowledge amongst users developers and users of the Warmup Custom Component for Home Assistant.

The Warmup 4IE series thermostat may be registered with a cloud service
using it's Device Number, based on its MAC Address.
The cloud service may be accessed at https://my.warmup.com
and there are Apple and Google apps called MyHeating by Warmup

We do not currently have any clear documentation on the API, just what can be inferred from the historical software mentioned below.
We have no current commercial information to indicate the likelihood of the vendor
supporting or stymying our integration efforts at this time.
However when the original developer alyc100 announced their SmartThings Warmup4ie integration
they stated that the then Head of Warmup Smart Division, Michael Hollins
had been very helpful in providing the API documentation required.
In an HA Community post it was suggested that Warmup is mainly used in the UK. Although Warmup Plc is a UK based company, according to their company reports international revenue was 40% of their business in 2018 and they run a branch in Germany called Warmup Heizsysteme. In North America they have agreements with Warmup Inc in Danbury, CT, which has been on Twitter since 2010, and Warmup Inc Toronto. The company claims a presence in 60 countries but perhaps the HA community will give some idea about how widely their products are actually used.
