Not really anything that we directly need at the moment, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Following some of the advice given in briansmith/untrusted#50.

Description:
This applies some of the suggested security hardening/improvements from briansmith/untrusted#50, updates staticcheck and also makes sure that the static analysis doesn't fail fast if one the checks fails.
