About Me

I like to make concrete poetry using linear drawings. My spirituality tells me we will always be changing, and in that uncomfortable stasis I use chromesthesia, or a mapping of color and sound, to center my self in my surroundings in access mode. This mapping matrix embraces me as I use it, with an ability to hear voices that inspire and guide my work. I make social emotional learning programs as scores and digital interfaces to explore how we can better address our boundaries alone and in a group setting at a colonial framework.

Biography:

danielle Gauthier is a net artist who specializes in poetry with creative software use. Her poems about feminine power have been featured on Gurls Talk and by University of Cambridge’s Frankly Speaking journal. She also published an article about homelessness and mental health in The New School Riggio Honors Writing Program’s 12th Street Journal. destructive proof of utopia was a collection of dramatic voices and collage in a digital map featured on Integrated Channels Exibition by CUNY Hunter College. the (womb)’s recepticle is a conformal baseline mapping table featured by CUNY Hunter College Studio Quarterly. le retour ouvert is a meditative score published in print by the School for Poetic Computation.

Cybernetics

My artistic work considers place and intersection in meditative scores on change. I study how constance occurs and how we interact to resist it or move with it. I make language poetry that plays with space and time and I make digital programs that virtualize a concept like government into an interactive experience. My professional work in project management has supported underserved communities like BIPOC and people with disabilities as well as artists to transition with education. I have programmed curricula and events for social emotional learning rooted in the study of yoga.

I reinterpret null's balanced isolation as micromovements that make the above pictured matrix of 16 particles to be able to define the boundaries of any space with a score that expands it to a given baseline. Entropy is the resistance from potential for work. I use sound and color in a synesthesia to read for a framework at a comfortable and dynamic or nondual baseline. I call it la matrice. To use it, I simply identify what is known to fill the parameters, then consider what is revealed by the remaining categories of what was not named present. This geometric exercise helps to balance a space by drawing in elements of what defines a baseline when it is not present.

This puts me in a position that I can give space by taking it, as well as being able to share with others that perspective. Self advocacy becomes a social act. Examples include my geometric drawing workshops where I lead the documentation of a thought with representative shapes and lines to readdress it with new visual cues. My matrix, la matrice, can be found at matrice.txt.

To use the matrix, allow associations to flow as you read or consider it.

I am a nonduality yoga practitioner relating Haitian spirituality with thermodynamics to advaita vedanta. My practice is based in ashtanga but I use my childhood study of dance and Dominican culture of candle reading, along with other energetic practices like eating, to practice echofer, or a thermodynamic heating ritual to heal. I believe our experience can never be captured and must be constantly expressed and drawn out.

I use physical references as geometric or meditative angles to connect different contexts, a conformal science to apply healing correlations and data practice with yoga and programming. When I feel attached to a concept or object, I practice nonattachment in line with ashtanga yoga principles, which helps me arrive at better understanding of the attached figure so I can change my association.
