Welcome to the ScienceSat_MommyStyle wiki!

Goal:

  • Add two lessons per month
  • Try to be relevant to 6th grade science
  • Use only household materials. ** Really really try to use only household materials
  • Try to keep the experiments safe-ish.
  • Try to keep the experiments hands-on

My impressions of Science in Ohio

Very passive and fact based. NO play, No wonder and not trying out new things. If there is a hands on experiment it science lab story bought and every part is pre-measured.

Kids are smart and they need to learn that figuring out how to put the experiment together is an important part of science.
