ASP Imagebank Explorer 2.0 - Multlingual Offline Version
This new version of ASP Imagebank Explorer includes support for searching in 71 languages including all the languages supported by the African Storybook Project and the Global African Storybook Project. The whole application including all 4000+ images can be downloaded and run locally / offline without the need for an Internet connection.
You can also download the latest online version (without the images).
About
The images were extracted as a result of processing stories for Global-ASP. They comprise a large collection of illustrations (4,310 at latest count -- and growing) for children's storybooks, all released under an open Creative Commons license (mostly CC-BY, with images from some stories licensed CC-BY-NC).

Usage
Download the release package (local-imagebank-explorer.zip, 126 MB) and extract the contents of the zip archive. To use the Imagebank Explorer, just open the file index.html in your browser and enter keywords in the search box.
Hover over any image to see licensing and attribution information. Click to see a full-size version of the image that you can use freely in your projects.
ASP Imagebank Explorer - Offline/Local Version
This package contains the Imagebank Explorer tool as well as the entire ASP image archive from the Global African Storybook Project. Images can be browsed and searched by keyword on a local machine without access to the internet.
