Hi, I am Debajyoti Mazumder 👋

NLP Researcher | Social NLP | Graph ML

I’m an NLP researcher with a special focus on Social NLP and a bit of Graph Machine Learning as well.

🔭 Current Focus

  • Social NLP: Exploring the impact of philosophical methods on multilingual LLMs for enhancing NLP tasks (like hate detection) in code-mixed setting.
  • Graph ML: Exploring link prediction in multiplex networks.

🌱 Learning and Exploring

I’m currently diving deeper into:

  • Few-shot and In-context Learning for NLP applications.
  • Finetuning Pretrained Models for social NLP applications.
  • Multilinguality in social NLP.
  • Graph-based techniques for link prediction in multiplex networks.

🔭 Education

  • Data Science: Ph.D. Data Science and Engineering.
  • Mathematics: B.Sc.(H) Mathematics and M.Sc. Mathematics.

When I'm not working on NLP or ML projects, you'll find me enjoying a game of badminton 🏸 and staying active. Sometimes, you'll catch me playing cricket 🏏 or football ⚽ too.
