JTAG DPI protocol violation

We see this error sometimes in our pipeline runs:

jtag0: Accepted client connection
JTAG DPI Protocol violation detected: unsupported command G

When we run the same seed locally, it runs fine and we're not able to reproduce this error. Appreciate some insight into what this error is and how it can be resolved.
