A Ruby API for version 3 of the bit.ly API, including j.mp and bitly.Pro support.
gem install bitly
Create a client using your username and API key from bit.ly
bitly = Bitly.new(username, api_key)
Then use that client to shorten or expand urls and hashes.
bitly.shorten('http://google.com')

Commit, do not mess with rakefile, version, or history. (if you want to have your own version, that is fine but bump version in a commit by itself I can ignore when I pull)
