Easily interact with the SurveyMonkey API v3. Access matched questions and answers.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'surveymonkey_api'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install surveymonkey_api
You will need an access token for the SurveyMonkey API and save the token in an env variable 'SURVEYMONKEY_API_TOKEN'.
Access a survey:
Surveymonkey::Survey.new('survey_id')
Access a survey responses:
survey = _
survey.responses
responses = _
Access the first response, and go through each page, question and answer and print the titles:
responses.first.pages.each do |page|
puts page.title
page.questions.each do |question|
puts question.title
question.answers.each do |answer|
puts answer.title
end
end
end
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
