Deployment

This page is up to date for Rango 0.2.

Rango application is classic rack application, so it can be deployed to all of the rack-compatible server like Apache/Nginx with Phussion Passenger, Thin or Unicorn. It won’t work with Mongrel, because Mongrel doesn’t play well with Ruby 1.9. There are some patches, so if you really want Mongrel, you can fix it, but I suggest you to just use something else.

And also note that if you want to deploy to Passenger, you can’t use prefix for static files, because Passenger can’t handle it. If you want to use prefix for static files and you want to use Passenger, the best way is to use a subdomain for it.
