Automatic Authorization Failed

Cause

Automatic authorization failures are a general set of errors which occur when we cannot successfully make the POST request to IPython's login page with your credentials. This may happen for a number of reasons but the most notable cause of this is that we Could not connect to IPython Notebook. Additional possible causes include:

• Ports are blocked. Ports 10000-15000 must be open (administrators can configure this).

Solution

Varies. For password_auth = True and apache_urls = False in your configuration, please see the above. Other issues do not have a general solution.
