Welcome to the seedpod_ground_risk wiki!
We have started this wiki to hopefully give more insight into what the project is for, where it is in development and how it can be used. Hopefully, as development continues, this can be used as a space to store ideas related to the project and accumulate any idiosyncrasies that would assist someone looking to understand the codebase.
A summation of what the SEEDPOD project aims to do can be found in our README.md file:
"Proof of Concept demonstrating modelling of UAS ground risk from open source data sources. This constructs a spatiotemporal population density map and evaluates the risk posed by a parameterised UAS.
All data processing is performed locally, so performance depends on your machine spec. At least 8GiB of RAM is essential, however.
Developed as part of the SEEDPOD project funded by the E-Drone project grant (EP/V002619/1)."
