What's Ximdex?

Ximdex is a powerful content management system (CMS) that simplifies the process of information management through the use of semantic technologies. Ximdex is a visual tool for automatic generation of portals and web applications, DTV, mobile.

Ximdex easily brings structure to web sites visually, managing your documents so as any constituent elements (videos, images, applications, audio...). You can quickly find files for its edition or reuse in other content.

Ximdex technology covers a wide range of complementary functionality for document management and Web content, allowing visual editing of any content or web application, its structure and meta tags in the form of semantic annotations, and even "enrichment" from relevant images for the document you are editing.

Ximdex is modular in nature and is based on standards (XML, XSLT, ...) and through the concept of our exclusive decoupled publishing is the only CMS for portal managing, assuting independence from operating technology in use (J2EE, PHP . NET, RoR, ASP, DTT...), allowing easy development of portal without affecting the stored content, for example, adapting it to HTML5.

Ximdex environment is currently used, among others, on:

• Document management systems with millions of documents that are edited visually using Xedit, the XML WYSIWYG editor.
• Fully dynamic portals and service-oriented applications, participatory web 2.0 portals, etc.
• High performance portals, where content is managed in a completely dynamic manner by Ximdex but built to static formats (XHTML) to improve scalability (Ximpublish module).

Its ease of use makes Ximdex an intuitive content management system for which no technical knowledge is required. The methodology of content management and its interface have been designed with the user in mind.
