This marks release 1.0.0 of zebrafish telencephalon app. As summarized in PR #2, the scope of the app developed by U-BDS is the following:

  • Develop a user friendly interface to allow users to look-up genes of interest in the 4 datasets discussed in the paper (integrated across age and split by age)
  • Specific visualizations for: UMAPs, violin plots, feature plots and dot plots. For each pot, users have the option of saving the results
  • General flexibility for fine-tuning figures including: displaying single-cells in the violin plots, selecting specific cluster for visualization, splitting results by age (for integrated dataset), saving results in different formats and resolution, and changing the scale of feature plots
  • Docker container with the app and datasets is provided (while we prefer to mount the datasets in most cases, under this scope, the data is included in the container, to minimize any steps from the user (to avoid fetching the data from another location)).

U-BDS scope does not include hosting of the web site in a server. The Thyme lab is responsible for hosting the app in an external server, but users have the option of pulling the app locally via the Docker container when possible.
