MediaReader

A FFMPEG Audio/Video Frame Reader for Local Media

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

What things you need to install the software and work with the library

Windows 10
Visual Studio 2019
FFMPEG - 4 +
QT - 5.10 +
GIT

I recommend using vcpkg to get the correct dependencies for FFMPEG & QT.

Installing

To get started:

git clone https://github.com/RGBKnights/MediaReader/
> cd MediaReader

Then, open the visual studio solution 'VenatioStudios'

  • FFMPEG - A complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video.
